The best baby food to start with..

Between the ages of 4 and 6 months, most babies are developmentally ready to get their first taste of solid foods. A common first baby food is a single-grain, iron-fortified cereal such as rice cereal or oatmeal.
Then bring on the veggies! Green peas, acorn squash and sweet potatoes. Then fruit avocados, apples, bananas and pears.

    Yea, my nutritionist in the class I took said to let them try veggies first to get them use to the taste and texture, we are naturally drawn to sweets so fruits are no problem.
      I wish I would have pushed avocados and sweet potatoes earlier...I think they taste great, but my daughter still pushes them away.
