Worry, what do you do?

I find I am worrying about finances and our future, hubby's lack of work etc. lately. I pray and journal, but I'm still succumbing to the worry more than I like. What do you do to ward off being a worry wart?

I am in the same boat. Sometimes I get people offering a legit home job then they want money or want me to sell. So, that sucks. You shouldn't need to pay money to get a real home job.

Prayers for you to find some extra income and worry less ✿

I used to stress so much that it made me have a lot of health problems and one of my doctors told me to write everything down that I was feeling and going through when I was dealing with it and then rip it up. I thought he was crazy but I started doing it and it really does help.
Besides that I pray...a lot! I am in the same situation with worrying about money and my husband not working...it is so hard! Sometimes it feels like my prayers don't even get heard. But I know God loves me and I remember that this is where faith comes into play. I may not feel like things will change, but I KNOW they will because I KNOW that God loves me and no one and no situation can take my faith in that away. I remember all the times He has gotten us through when things seemed hopeless. When I start to stress too much I walk through my house and pray in every room and by every bedside. It helps my stress level greatly.

I guess I am a little different. If i can't fix it right then I don't worry about it. Worrying doesn't hurt anyone but me.

I worry a lot about our finances. My husband and I both took the debt from our past marriages and we are still trying to recover from that. I try to focus on the positives and the right now and I organize and organize again the different plans and ideas of how to save money. For the small positives that we do get from the finances we celebrate in a free fun way to remind us that money is not equal to happiness!
