Drool rash remedies

Wipe the drool off of your baby frequently, using a soft cloth, gently pat the skin dry. A clean, cloth diaper or baby washcloth is absorbent and gentle and won't irritate already sensitive skin. Also check the folds in your baby's neck. Apply a hypoallergenic cream or ointment with lanolin to the affected areas of your baby's skin.
Applying the lanolin cream before bed will help protect his skin while they sleep. During the day, keep an absorbent bib on your baby to help protect their chest from the drool. Change the bib when it becomes soaked.
If the rash gets worse, seems to be growing or causing your child pain then contact your pediatrician.
