Kale, Cayenne Pepper, Lemon Juice, Wheat Grass - Any health obsessions?
I feel like everyone has their thing.. the thing that they take, eat or drink.. or a vitamin that ..they take religiously.. not even sure of the effects, but do it anyway..
I take chewable vitamin C .. every morning and night.. almost taking in high doses,.. I read something a LONG time ago that said something about how great it is for the skin and immune system... and knock on wood,.. I'm not often found with a cold..
ALSO.. My newer thing is lemon juice.. fresh lemons juice in water.. or hot water and I mix in cayenne pepper..
The last couple of years there has been a lot of cancer around me.. either my best friend with stage 4 Hodgkin's, my BF sister with 3 different types that have spread, the mom at school that head breast.. it seems it's everywhere and I didn't realize that it was scaring me.. I did all my research for my friends.. to stay on top of their treatments and to know what could help.. and the benefits of alkaline foods is amazing.. so I started then...
So, every morning, I drink warm water with a teaspoon of coconut oil and lemon juice in it.. then I carry a water bottle of lemon juice and cayenne pepper and sip on it throughout the day and refill as needed etc..
I drink green tea every night..
LOL.. I don't know how it's helping.. if it's helping.. I think sometimes you just get the cards you get..
Anyone else? Have something they HAVE to take?? More for piece of mind?
What's with the pepper? that sounds really good with lemon... Is it for the anti inflammatory stuff?
