Daycare transition questions

Daycare is transitioning Riley to the 1 year old room. Here are some of the changes; he will have a more rigid schedule, solid foods at lunch(which was started a couple weeks ago) , no bottle, one nap a day on a mat.

The no bottles is the one I'm struggling with. He will get whole milk with his meals instead. Nutritionally that's fine. But now I have to figure out what to do with my milk production and how to manage it. Currently I pump three times a day and nurse him before work in the morning. But without getting bottles at day care he won't drink that much.

Has any one been in this situation before or have any advice? We got very little notice about this so I only have a couple days to figure out a plan.

You could donate your milk!! There are lots of milk banks that will accept pumped milk and then give it to families that are adopting or families where the mother isn't able to produce milk.

I had my first child in April 2013, just before our one year anniversary. Riley has been an absolute joy and I love every minute of being mom. But I am the first among my friends to have a child, so there isn't always an easy place to go for advice.
