Are you stopping work because of doctor's recommendations? I worked up until the day I went into labor. Do you do a job where you could maybe work from home?

I was able to work from home from 37 weeks on. I was so swollen also. Have you asked about working from home? My boss was able to find projects that I could work on from home to fill the time. It gets lonley working at home, so it was so nice to see my husband and have someone to talk to you! The nice thing was, I could get out and take a 10-15 minute walk every couple of hours when the weather was decent.

It's definitely a transition Lily. I worked my tail off every day and loved every second of it. But when I found out I was pregnant me and my childs father agreed that moving up to be with him was the best option. I still had 6 months before Charlie was born so I was going nuts not working. Check around for some work at home options if you really start to hate it.. honestly though once your baby gets here you'll be so glad you're home!

I was only home for 3 days before avery was born. I had planned to work up until my due date, but then I started having serious signs of labor and my work told me to go home because they didn't want me at work when it all started!

Those 3 days were BORING. I wasn't sure if I was going back to work yet at that time and I kept thinking "how will I every manage being a stay at home mom?". Needless to say, once avery was here I realized there was plenty to keep me busy and I decided not to go back to work.

I think because it's my first baby and I'm late 30th so my husband and want me to be very careful. And my bad swollen cost my hands and my shoulder joint hurt.
I have been looking for a job from home so I can be busy and be able to help my husband as we'll. But so far I have not find any thing yet :( A lot of them are scam I can't trust it.
