Laying on my side

Hey ladies! So I am 5 months pregnant and I know I have been told and read that it is better to lay on my sides. But sometimes my hips and Lower back start to ache during the night. Also I keep waking up on my back.

I slept on my back until the last 2 months when my belly got big and heavy. After that if I laid on my back it would make me dizzy and I would pass out. I cramp up too if I lay on my sides for too long. Putting a pillow behind my back helped too because then I could roll partway on it and not be on my back but not be all the way on my hips.

Try sleeping with pillow behind you it should help to take the pressure off the lower back and maybe a pillow at the knees. It seems to help me, good luck!

Haha we are currently sleeping on a full side bed and I feel terrible for my guy with all the pillows, but he doesn't seem to miss any sleep!

I slept on my side with a pillow behind/under my back and another one under my belly/between my knees.

Left side is best and use a big fluffy body pillow.
