Laying on my side
Hey ladies! So I am 5 months pregnant and I know I have been told and read that it is better to lay on my sides. But sometimes my hips and Lower back start to ache during the night. Also I keep waking up on my back.
I slept on my back until the last 2 months when my belly got big and heavy. After that if I laid on my back it would make me dizzy and I would pass out. I cramp up too if I lay on my sides for too long. Putting a pillow behind my back helped too because then I could roll partway on it and not be on my back but not be all the way on my hips.
Try sleeping with pillow behind you it should help to take the pressure off the lower back and maybe a pillow at the knees. It seems to help me, good luck!
Pillows! Behind the back, between the legs, or even holding one while you sleep.. those totally helped me sleep right through the night :) I ended up on my back sometimes too.. not the end of the world :)
awesome advice!! thank you ladies!! i sleep with a body pillow so one to wrap around me body is set! i will have to try putting one behind my back as well!!! thank goodness that i have a big enough bed so my boyfriend isnt bombarded with pillows on his side!
Pillows are great!! I slept with one beneath my head, one under my side and one between my legs and it was so comfy! Try to use pillows more!!
Haha we are currently sleeping on a full side bed and I feel terrible for my guy with all the pillows, but he doesn't seem to miss any sleep!
I slept on my side with a pillow behind/under my back and another one under my belly/between my knees.
Left side is best and use a big fluffy body pillow.
i feel like i am a very routy sleeper at times because i sometimes wake up with the pillowes thrown off the bed or my boyfriend has all of them because i push them on his side while i am sleeping
