Baby high fever
A high fever means your child has an infection and his or her body is trying to fight it off. It is recommended that if your child has no more than 101 degree fever not to give medicine. When you give a fever reducer (antihistamine or Ibuprofen) to anyone that has a fever they're body can not fight off the infection. Your brain has a internal mechanism that will not allow your body to reach a temperature higher than 106 except in rare situations like heat stroke. If your child has a fever 101 or higher then dont hesitate to give medicine and a cool bath or cold wash cloth on the back of the neck to help reduce fever and of course always consult your doctor!
