Something you would have done differently when your kids were little?

This seems silly. But with oranges, I Akways pulled the white stuff off meticulously ... The little strings and strands that I worried they'd choke on.. Which was fine but my son is 9 and I still have to do it or he won't eat the orange. He's so used to a bald orange that he just thinks its weird and gross.
So as many things I would have done differently. That's actually one of the main ones. As trivial as that sounds.

I guess I have to look forward into this since Charlie's so young. I'm going to try to not be scared of things. I was raised in the country, lived in the big city for a long time, and now I live in a small town out in the country again, and I hate spiders. I'm scared of horses. Last year I was mowing the lawn on a riding lawn mower and a snake popped out of the bushes and I almost had a heart attack and tried to outrun it on the mower.. lol it makes me laugh now but I thought I was going to die.

Mom never really took chances or rode the roller coaster or went for a swim in the creek. I'm going to try to hide my fear from things so Charlie isn't paralyzed later on.

We live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a writer, comedian, actor and single mom of two. Parenting is hard. I try to keep a sense of humor about it all and find the find the funny... in what is most likely NOT funny (i.e. boogers, meltdowns, homework, etc.).
