Various Reasons....

Children can wet the bed for many reasons... most of the time it is developmental . However, if child wets the bed and is older than 6 and is a chronic bed wetter...it might be time to see the doctor. There are various reasons from emotional to developmental .. .but if a child is chronically wetting the bed after 6 years old there might be an emotional quotient that needs to be looked into!

I constantly keep a plastic sheet on the beds. You never know when an accident or spill will happen. Mattress are not cheap!

My son is 8 and he will wet the bed occasionally. We have taken him to the doctors and they said he as something called a fatty pocket. Right above his private area it is a little more fatter. I just thought i was part of his "baby fat" She said at night he will get in such a deep sleep and roll over hit the fatty pocket and will urine. We have also found out that if he overeats or snacks before bedtime he wets the bed. We have eliminated all eating and drinking after 8pm. This is how I know he sneeks snacks lol There is also an alarm clock you can purchase that snaps on to their underware. It will alert them at night to wake up and use the bathroom. This was a very expensive device. You could also try your own alarm system in the room.
