Sanity not vanity
I drag myself to the gym or track or outside sometimes. The only thing that motivates me to work out or anything is how I feel after. I also try to see friends and chat and laugh. I always feel better after a good hour with a friend.
I agree, I just try to remember the hardest part is the getting started, and you never regret a work out!
I'm terrible at working out. It's not something I enjoy at all and not really something I need to do to look good (I have been blessed with a very high metabolism). That said, I do go out on walks frequently with the kids and I'm a very active person in other regards also - i just don't have set workout times or routines ;)
I don't work out. At all. We go on walks when the weather permits, but that's it. I've adjusted our diets to include way more fruits and veggies and less starchy stuff. I would like to set a good example for Charlie so we're starting with the food we eat.

We live in Los Angeles, CA. I'm a writer, comedian, actor and single mom of two. Parenting is hard. I try to keep a sense of humor about it all and find the find the funny... in what is most likely NOT funny (i.e. boogers, meltdowns, homework, etc.).
