Eat the same things...
My kids always wanted a bite of what I was eating ... So I would make sure I had their good.
I also let them "help" in the kitchen to make their snacks.
We feed off our plates a lot too. I know Mason first started being really picky around 19 months old and we just kinda gave in to whatever he was asking for just to get him to eat and then later on started trying to deny requests and force what the family was eating.
I agree that feeding them what you eat really helps. I would also say not to make a big deal out of food. Let them sit at the table with you and give them their food while you eat. If you eat and kind of ignore them they'll probably start picking at their food too. Pretty soon they'll be eating just like you. It's a monkey see monkey do kind of thing.
Mine are 9 and 15 and still want what I am eating, lol. Except for salad. That's never worked for them to see me with it and want it.
