Baby o no baby
I'm going to be 35 this year and my husband wants another baby (boy) we have 2 girls one is 9 and my little one 2. should i have another baby now or wait ??
Well... as I'm sure you know, you can't be sure the next one would be a boy. Would he want another baby if you knew beyond a shadow of a doubt it would be a girl?? Are you ready to be pregnant again? There are a lot of factors both you and your husband need to consider and decide on together. But I don't think your age should push you too hard in one way or the other. Maybe talk to your OB about your chances of pregnancy in a few years and the risks that would be associated with a pregnancy a few years down the road. It's another factor for you to take into consideration ;)
I've had six babies between 30 and 40 so I don't think age should deter you unless you have a medical condition that your doctor advises you against it. This is a personal decision between you and your husband. Does your husband realize he controls whether you'll have a girl or boy? ;) And there are no guarantees.
Do you want another baby or a boy specifically? That's what would be my determining factors. But if you want another baby, period, then I would totally go for it.
My husband is looking to have a boy we have talk about it, but like i told him is not for sure it will be a boy, he knows that but he thinks 3rd time is charm!! lol I do would like to have another baby just not sure about been pregnant :)
Congrats on thinking of having a baby! I had my baby girl a 43, so while age is a factor, see your doctor first and be sure to take prenatals!! Very important as we women don't get enough folic acid, which prevents a lot of birth defects. As far as a boy, the man controls the sex. If you really want a boy you can do the old fashion way with your man behind you on ovulation day, or see a fertility specialist who specializes in gender secection. Best of luck to you both!
