Mom, how do you feel about direct sales jobs

I think it's a great for some, especially if you are a sales person. I am not. I have a direct sales business and it takes a lot of work to build it. It takes time and does not happen overnight for the average person. I make what I spend in product each month and am happy with that right now because I save money and get "points" for free product.

My direct sales business makes the skeptics more skeptic since it has to do with alternative medicine and that's ok because most people have to experience what we have to believe in it.

I think you have to do your research and be passionate about the product/business for it to work too because enthusiasm is often contagious.

I did direct sales before having children. I loved it and was pretty good at it, but I wasn't willing to put as much time into it when Mason was born so I knew it would be best for me to just stop instead of struggling with it for awhile. I've been considering getting back into it again - I think I would still be good at it and I've learned to better manage my time so I feel like I would be able to focus on it again, I'm just not sure I'm ready to take the plunge!

I completely agree, Theresa! No matter what business you are in, you MUST be passionate about it!!!
