I just had my wisdom teeth pulled....

And it is the most excruciating pain I've ever experienced in my life regarding my mouth. My cheeks are swollen beyond return. My kids think I'm part chipmunk lol... Moms... if you've had this procedure done as well how did you cope with it? I'm in pain.... First the terrible sickness now the pain from surgery. Any soothing advice?

Don't freak out though Andrea! Lol... I'm a special case I was told because mine were compacted and still under the gum. The Oral Surgeon had to bust through tthe gums and break bones AND he had to crack my tooth into pieces to pull it out because it was a big one he said. So, my gums were broken, cut and dug into because my wisdoms were still hiding. OUCH!!!

I see that your son is 1 so he should be taking several naps a day. If not, maybe you could try to turn it all into a game or movie date. nap and cuddle together. Thats what I've been doing with my 6 month old, 1 year old and 3 yr old. Although you must watch their heads lol or they will bump you in the mouth and thats no bueno. I pray things aren't hard on you and that you have some form of help during that time. I'm here virtually :)

Yes, they put me under. I was so paranoid I actually died for a few seconds, they had to wake me back up and start all over again. It was the most ... I don't know... but it was an experience. Much different from my tubal ligation.
