How to beat exhaustion in early pregnancy

Take a nap!

Most women suffer from exhaustion in early pregnancy. Take it as a sign that you need to slow down and rest. I recommended getting the rest now while you can because later during pregnancy you will be too uncomfortable to sleep. Try to schedule your day now so you can squeeze a nap in.

My acupuncturist told me that early pregnancy was like climbing a mountain--you use a huge amount of energy! I wish I would have napped more. I think if you work a full-time job and are unable to nap, stopping and taking time to just rest awake is also helpful. Not as helpful as a nap, but it's something.

I don't remember napping too much with my first or second but do remember falling asleep at 5:30-6pm in most of my pregnancies .
