I don't know what to think...what could this mean???

I have a 4 year old and his father and I have been fighting over custody for the past 4 years. I finally get to keep him with me. Yesterday, while everyone was having ice-cream, my 1 year old requested whip cream on his. I asked my 4 year old if he wanted any and he refused it. Then he started whispering in my ear, "Daddy puts whip cream on his lollipop and makes me eat it...it's yucky." I am beyond shocked...I have no clue what to think about this!!!

One thing I learned after being a youth pastor for almost 20 years and hearing more stories like this than I would ever wish on anyone else...do not, do not, do not question him on your own! If you are in a custody battle and you question him then take that information to CPS or the police they will NEVER believe you. You need to take him immediately to CPS and let them ask the questions. They have been trained to do this. I wouldn't take him to the police though. CPS is more likely to question everyone involved and not ruin the dad's life if it turns out to be an innocent thing (which is true in the majority of these cases) as much as you want to ask the questions, leave it to those who have been trained how to do it and who can get you the help you need if it turns out to be true.

And the last thing you want is for no one to believe you as it end up being true.

omg, you really should get the police involved in this and have them start an investigation.

hopefully they start an investigation soon. I wish you luck and hope its not what we are all thinking, because it is a very hard thing for a child to get over...

I'm so glad you did! Hopefully he was talking about candy, most of the time there is an innocent explination but I am glad you called! It is hard but it's always better to know for sure.

Unless you know what exactly lollipop is, I'd proceed with caution. Hoping for the best...hoping, hoping.
