Is your baby spitting up a lot? Short answer: yes.

Madeleine had reflux. She spit up constantly, in varying amounts. She was breastfed too, and that did not improve the situation. Was it messy? Sure. Was it normal? Absolutely.

Most babies spit up, and it can last well into the 9th month and even to a year. But it's okay--once baby's digestive tract develops more completely, it should stop on its own.

A couple of mine spit up a lot, there never seemed to be a cause that I knew of. Every baby is so different.
My babies were never afflicted with refulx but my sisters children all had it ... it is no picnic... I feel for the children!
