Recurring fevers possibly caused by?

In children a urinary tract infection can cause a low grade recurring fever. There are kids who are susceptible to UTI's and their only symptom is a low grade fever. Doctors will usually rule this out as a possibility by requesting a urine sample. They may test the urine in office and send it out to be cultured as well just to be sure.
