Feeling down all the time during my pregnancy

If you are feeling down all the time during your pregnancy it sounds like you are suffering from depression. If you are suffering from depression is it very important to talk to your family and your doctor. It is important to be honest with them about what you are feeling. Your doctor should be able to recommend treatment that is safe for pregnancy and that will help your symptoms.

Please do not suffer in silence. There is nothing to be ashamed about and no reason to keep quiet about how you are feeling. Please reach out to your doctor, family and friends. A good support team is vital in helping you through this difficult time. Remember that you did nothing wrong and you have nothing to be ashamed about. Please seek treatment.

It is really important to seek treatment now. If you are already experiencing symptoms of depression you are at a greater risk of developing postpartum depression. Postpartum depression can be serious and even life threatening for both you and your baby if left untreated.

You are not alone. Please seek treatment.
