Is it normal to have a period when pregnant

It is impossible to have your period when you are pregnant. If you are experiencing bleeding that mimics a period make sure you take to your doctor. There are many causes of bleeding during pregnancy, some are serious and some are harmless. Your doctor will be able to determine the cause of your bleeding and recommend treatment.

Some causes of bleeding can look just like a period. The bleeding is heavy like a period and then it clots and stops. Then weeks later it can start bleeding again and clot off. So when someone says they got their period they did have bleeding but it just wasn't an actual period.
