Breast feeding

Hello mommies! I was wondering how you can prepare your breasts for breast feeding so that it won't hurt as bad?? I am at the beginning of my 6th month and since I want to Breast feed I figured now would be the best time to prepare them for it!! Any suggestions?

The first couple of weeks maybe uncomfortable due to your milk coming in and both of you "learning" how to nurse but It gets much easier, try to nurse on demand to avoid engorgement because that is sooo Painful!!! GOOD LUCK!!!
If it's too painful then something isn't right - like the baby's latch is off position. I don't think you need to prepare your breasts, but it'd be helpful to read a breastfeeding book or watch a DVD to learn about things like latch, holding baby, etc. I like the Womanly Art of Breastfeeding book or the Simply Breastfeeding DVD.
