Laying on your left side
I have been told by many that laying in my left side during my pregnancy brings better nutrients to the placenta for my baby and it increase blood flow..... I wonder why that is?
I think it's just to do with the way everything is positioned in the body. I believe pressure is put on certain parts of you if laying on the right side.
My left side is really add to sleep on at times! My left rib age from front to back ache when I am on it for too long. And it causes my mid back to lower back to start aching. So most of the time I end up on my right side. It stinks!
I had the same thing going on! I felt guilty but half the time it was the only way I could get any sleep to sleep on my right side.
Really good article about why the left side is the good side.
Thank you!! I will look into that!
Ah, yes.. that left side can really help! I always laid on my left side if I ever left dizzy or short of breath while pregnant because it would instantly flow that blood to my heart and help me stabilize everything.. it's the sneaky good position!
