Eating the crib!

So baby T has this thing for chewing on his crib...to the point he has chewed off a bunch of the finish on the inside...then when I went to get him from his nap today he had chewed off a chunk of the wood and was chewing it when I went in there. Anyone else's kids do this or did I just give birth to a beaver? Lol

haha @ beaver. I've heard of this too. In fact I've seen a few people selling cribs on facebook saying that it has "minor chew marks" and it's always made me laugh. Kidding aside though I'd be worried about the choking hazard. Maybe put some of that bitters on it? Y'know the stuff you use to keep the dogs from chewing on furniture? It's all natural but talk to your doctor first, I have no idea what it would do to a kiddo.

Lol! My son goes for anything soft, furry, or plastic. Maybe I gave birth to a goat. Lol

I take the furry stuff away though. No more eating toy teddy bears...for a while at least. Lol

Mine would have a heart attack if I took the stuffed animals away. I've had to sew some of them back together but he loves them so much!

I couldn't believe he got a chunk off! I've had something over it before but he just destroyed it. I feel better knowing he's not the only one! Lol I am going to try and crochet something that wraps around the top where he's chewing and sew every possible gap were he could pull it apart or out of the way to get to the wood.

Oh yeah I tuck them in pretty well. If there is one there he will find it! Lol
