Crafting for Mother's day

So My little brother's graduation from film school is the same weekend as mother's day. We can't afford to go but my mom is so we have to do our mother's day stuff this weekend. It totally snuck up on me and now I have to rush to get everything done.

I made my mom and my mother-in-law a photobook of Avery (she's the first grandchild). Now I'm going to make a photo wood block for my grandmas. We're gonna head out in the rain to Michaels and get supplies. I don't go to the craft store very often so when I do I like to stock up. I really want to crochet a lightweight shrug for Avery to wear this summer. I've never done anything like that before, but I'm gonna buy the yarn to give it a try.

Have you thought about mother's day yet?
