Your employer doesn't have the right to know that

I know many of us have been or are currently faced with the dilemma of when to announce a pregnancy to our work/boss. As with most medical conditions (unless you can't perform certain tasks) you aren't obligated to share your personal health with your employer when being hired. They aren't even allowed to ask you if you are expecting.

So, imagine my surprise when I read the story about Valerie Harper today. Apparently she didn't share her cancer diagnosis with playwright Matthew Lombardo and he is suing her for two MILLION dollars. Are you kidding me?
