Tips for pregnant travelers!

Did you travel during your pregnancy? Is there anything you did to make it more comfortable?

I had to travel by car 1,800 miles to another state at 17weeks pregnant and then back home another 1,800 miles when I was 28weeks pregnant. I made sure to stop as often as possible to pee and walk around. It was very hard to get comfortable in the car. I used a ton of pillows and wore pajama pants.

Here is a great infographic:

I took a train to New York at around six months. Our trip back took probably about five extra hours because of a storm system that came through the area, and then our power was out, lol. But we chose to travel by train to have the flexibility for me to move around, use a restroom, have comfortable seating, and snacks available.

Ah, cute infograph! I actually flew when I was 20 weeks pregnant, OY! Not very fun and I was barely even showing.. but those plane seats are NOT made for normal people, let alone carrying a baby! hehe Then I also travled 700+ miles both ways by car when I was 36 weeks pregnant and we had to stop at least every 2 hours for me to walk around.. but both travel snippets went just fine :)
