Salmon Patches!

My daughter has "salmon patches..." or "stork bites." Basically a little patch of blood vessels on the nape of her neck. Like a birthmark of sorts. It's caused typically by momma's hormones (which makes sense since I'm breastfeeding). From what I've read it will go away on it's own, but sometimes it stays forever. I'm okay with this. It's on the nape of her neck right where her hair line is.

Anyone else's little ones have "stork bites/salmon patches?"

One of ours did but I cannot remember where, I can just visualize the splotches. My memory is going....
Mine do! Hayden has one on the back of her neck, but she also has one on her forehead between her eyebrows. It is pretty faint, and I'm one of the only people that notice it (even my husband didn't realize it's always there - he asked about it the other day!)

First time mom to my beautiful little Ellsie. It took four years to conceive our little miracle and she continues to surprise and amaze us every day. Love to chat with new people, take photos, read, walk, dance, and sing. :)
