Moms, do you have a hunter husband

No, my husband isn't a hunter. My dad hunted occasionally when I was a child. He had polio when he was a young child so walked with a limp (and brace when it wasn't aggravating his skin) but didn't let that stop from doing things he enjoyed.

If your husband hunts, what does he hunt for?

Yes. He hunts turkey and deer. He also fishes. I'm not a fan of hunting. But all 3 of my kids know what it is and love it. My 9 year old will be getting a bb gun for her 10th bday this year. My 6 and 10 year old have been up in a deer stand a couple of times with my husband and father in law.

No, but my dad was, he's from Mississippi and apparently that was all they ever did, and the even ate the stuff, give me the good old fashioned store brought meat and potatoes loaded with all the pesticides, however; I am going to change that some day!

Me personally I'm not a hunter I don't mind eating the meat but I won't do all the skinning or gutting out. My boyfriend loves shooting guns I don't like them.

My fianc e hunts, and I don't mind him doing it. He hunts deer and elk most the time. How we see it, that is his guys time. I have found that I prefer those meats more than beef at times. We actually made lasagna the other night using elk meat and it was yummy.

My whole family hunts. It is our main source of meat from deer and elk. We process our own game so we know that we are getting the same meat that we killed. We know what it has been eating and can limit the amount of fat that is added.

I grew up hunting and kind of miss the game meat. But I can't leave little ones for that long and my hubby has a bad back so even if I would teach him, he couldn't.

There are a lot of hunters. I admit I'd like to try and I'm interested in learning to shoot. My dad never offered to teach us and I guess at that time I was probably too young and then when I was a teen I wasn't interested. I am now though.
