Remedies for severe morning sickness
The most important thing I want to say first is to tell your doctor is you are having trouble keeping food or fluids down! There are medications that can help treat nausea . The one it seems that is used often now is Zofran, when I was pregnant with my daughter I was on Phenergan via IV. I don't know a whole lot about it but I have heard that Zofran can be used via a pump which is great news. Having a home IV makes it difficult to get around (drag a pole with you everywhere) and to sleep. You have to have the site changed out regularly too since IV's can't stay in the same vein for too long.
Don't be afraid to discuss severe morning sickness with your doctor. It doesn't make you weak or make you seem like a complainer. Trust me, they know that our bodies sometimes act up and make us miserable during pregnancy! So don't suffer if you don't have to, let them help you.
