How to hold a baby while breastfeeding

I would advise referring to this article.

I held my baby at least three or four different ways in the first year alone. We started with the football position with the aid of a nursing pillow (I had a My Brest Friend), then we moved on to the cradle and cross-cradle positions and we outgrew the pillow. We side-nurse at night, and lately, my toddler will nurse in positions that haven't been named!

You really just want to keep in mind that you are comfortable, your baby is comfortable, and your baby can latch well. Keep in mind that you'll be in the same position for at least twenty minutes, possibly longer.

I used the football hold until Maddie started kicking the chair behind us and de-latching, lol. Then I had to flip those kicky feet in a different direction.
