When to wean off a Pacifier

We haven't ever had one of our kids take a pacifier, but I've heard most pediatricians suggest weaning at or before one year. The earlier you wean your child off a pacifier the easier it will be. The fear with letting your child continue using a pacifier is damage to teeth and/or speech delays, so it's important to wean them even though it may be difficult.

obsessed with babywearing, cloth diapering, and breastfeeding (but not judgmental about those that aren't). I'm a SAHM that works. Loves cupcakes, kittens, and glitter; hates spiders, housework and pessimism.
