I think first you have to consult with your pediatrist. Actually, I do not advocate taking the medication (not sure if this is not a special case). I always try to help the child with the folk remedies. For example, if a sore throat, I recommend rinsing with a solution of baking soda (1/2 teaspoon per cup of water) or rinse with such a solution: 1 tablespoon grated beet juice (not cooked) + 1 tablespoon of honey + 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar per a glass of warm boiled water. I treat a runny nose with aloe: fresh aloe juice drip into each nostril one droplet. And of course drink, drink and drink, I prefer tea with lemon or milk with butter and honey.

Where do you get your essential oils from?

Hey Meg! I just went to that website and saw a few essential oils that i might be interested in. I was wondering, have you tried balance or lavender? And if so, do they work, and how long do they last?

I have tried both! I don't own balance.. but I tried it.. amazing! And I own lavender.. have you ever used lavender at night, before bed? Tiffany.. it is magical, at least for me.. I honestly sleep SO soundly and well when I dab lavender on my neck and shoulders before bed.. aaaah. Life changer!! So yes, they work. I use peppermint a ton too.. for everything from nausea to head aches.. it REALLY works. Also for aches and pains. They last a really long time! At least 6 months I would say.. you don't need very much each time you use them.. just small dabs!! Are you thinking of trying some? :)
