Most fun stay at home mom activities

I have always enjoyed everything to do with being a stay at home mom. I've always been interested in cooking and baking from scratch. Gardening etc. Learning the lost arts of knitting (still have to master that!) I love to be able to read when I want, though now I have to make time. I use to read while I was nursing!

But besides all of that, I love being watch our children experience things for the first time and take them on field trips. Like we did with mini golfing, as it was the boys first time and only the girls second time.

I love reading as well! I have been an excellent reader since around 4 years old, believe it not I grew up in the 70s and that's when Sesame Street was something that you could watch and actually learn something from, I believed that I learned to read from watching that show! I am very interested in learning how to bake, cook from scratch, that may be a bit of a challenge for me but at this stage in my life I'm looking forward to it!

I enjoy cooking and baking from scratch as well. There seems to be more enjoyment in it, especially once it's complete. I also like to alter recipes. I enjoy reading as well, but I am only able to squeeze in some reading time. I do organic gardening. I love growing things from seedlings and then watching them pop up from the soil. I got so excited when I did it the first time. I also plant flowers. My hubby likes to use pesticides but I am trying to encourage him to do it the way my family has done it for generations. I am hoping he will come around. :) I tried knitting, but I do not have time for it (maybe when I am older). I like to sew, though. :)

I still have the urge to work though; it is an itch that I cannot scratch.

I am home with my son and I don't have time to do most of these things. Between play groups, doctors appointments, class, and everything else at home, I barely do anything else. I spend as much time as I can with my son and try to get things done during nap time.

I do have a chocolate and bourbon pecan pie in the oven. I'm going to a party tomorrow and I am bringing it.

I did buy a store bought crust though.

I love to cook and bake. Right now, my schedule and "issues" prevent me from doing a lot of the activities I enjoy. Hopefully, once Connor is home to stay, I can start baking again.
