Lice

Yes, it's that nasty "L" word. Have you ever had to deal with head lice? I had head lice once almost twenty years ago, bought an over-the-counter shampoo, and got rid of them. I have been dealing with these nasty pests now for about the last three years. They seem to come and go. I have tried so many things except a buzz cut (not even an option for me). What do you do for head lice?

Ditto on the tea tree oil. It works VERY well.

Mini got them maybe two years ago. It was a huge pain in the butt! I had to wash and dry everything, clothes, her book bag, coats, bed sheets and blanket. I did the comb through her hair every single day. Every other day I would load up hair conditioner as saturated as I could get it and have her leave it in with a cap on her head before I did the nit comb. The tea tree oil shampoo is what she washed the conditioner out with. AND I flat ironed her hair every single day.

    UGH, that was a pain.

I have just used LiceFreeee again! This time maybe I got them. I washed the veils that I use in church in Borax. This morning, I put LiceFreeee Gle on my hair and then washed it out with LiceFreeee shampoo. Hopefully something will work. I've heard that lice don't respond to Rid or Nix anymore. They've built up a resistance to those. LiceFreeee is salt-based, so it dehydrates them.

I tried shampoo with tea tree oil, but it didn't work for me. So I heard, you should add a few drops of tea tree oil to the tea tree oil shampoo, but I didn't have any of it. I tried the straight shampoo.
