All Natural Teething Remedies

We typically stick with cold wash rags. But when needed we use cat nip-usually buy a cheap cat toy and let babe chew on it-and homeopathic teething tablets.

We used teething rings you put in the freezer, their rattles and our clean fingers or thumb. Occasionally we'd use a cold face cloth and possibly put an ice cube in there.

We have the frozen teething rings as well but my kids all are born in late winter, early spring so by the time they are teething it's back to winter again and they don't want the extra cold that much. I'm pretty much to the point that if it won't hurt them to chew on it let them chew. I've given a few toothbrushes once their molars start coming in.

I didn't know it either until I unknowingly gave my now two year old a cat toy while she was teething. It calms them down.

Wow ...catnip who would have thunk! LOL! What are the properties in cat nip that make it a great teething remedy?

I'm not sure exactly. It calmed her down a lot. Easiest time teething we had with one.
