Lose weight after having a baby: the easiest way

For me it was breastfeeding! I lost almost all of the baby weight in the first two months after giving birth and I attributed that to the fact that I was breastfeeding. I breastfed my babies on demand as much as they wanted. People always asked me what I did to lose the wait and I did nothing. I have noticed that if I try to exercise while breastfeeding my milk supply drops. After awhile I try doing some very simple exercises to strengthen my muscles and tone by belly.

    Breastfeeding was not helpful to me for losing weight. My La Leche League leader mentioned that some of us retain weight so we can feed our babies and it comes off easier once we are done nursing. I haven't put my hand to the plow to make it happen but hoping to this summer through increased activity and lots of fruit and veggies.
