The job ending up being a bust :-( hopefully he can get something soon.

The people that lived in the house before us had 2-3 layers of plastic under almost all of the grass (which was making it die) and under all the flower beds. So while the man mowed I pulled up SO much plastic! Then took chunks of dirt and live grass and transplanted it to the bare spots in the front yard. I am going to start planting more stuff soon. I have to redesign the yard and flower beds. Then clean out all the flower beds because there are old toys a a bunch of rocks through it. There is so much work to do! But I enjoy it :-)

It's a great workout! Plus I love being able to work hard and see the flowers and my garden grow. There is nothing like seeing something you work hard for start to flourish :-)

I've actually always hated it until about five years ago. I couldn't get anything to grow. Then I found some indoor plants that as long as you water them they pretty much grow without work lol once I kept them alive for a while I promoted myself to a few small outdoor plants and then just got bit with the gardening bug :-)

I have some of that I can't kill lol when I first started out I had a little tiny spider plant so I treated it like my baby...plus they have "babies" there were times I forgot to water it for like a month and they were fine. Hahaha there were so many plants people told me I couldn't kill and I always did.
