How long 'til testing means something?

Okay, so I know the normal answer for testing when you're conceiving under normal circumstances... but what about post miscarriage?

I know some women test positive for 6-7 weeks...

How long would you wait before you trusted a positive to be real after a miscarriage?

Good question. I think the soonest I got pregnant after a loss was a couple of months, never any earlier, so I obviously tested positive. Something to ask your doctor.

Thanks for all the input! I didn't think to test and watch it get lighter so I'd know for sure. I'll give it a while yet!

I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and 5 days. I of course was devastated and couldn't imagine going through that again. However, 4 weeks later I felt pregnant again. I took a few pregnancy test all coming back positive right away. I called my doctor and he told me that I could test positive from the miscarriage so don't get too excited. I decided this time I was going to wait to see my doctor until 9 weeks. We went the doctor checked me and sure enough I was pregnant. My doctor asked me what happen to waiting 3 months as to my boyfriend answered it was my fault! Funny! A few days later we went for an ultrasound to discover that we were pregnant with TWINS! I cried when we heard the heartbeats. I think its different for everyone but we just got really lucky.
