Finding the Right Learning Environment For Your Child

I thought this article was a good read. Though my daughter is only 1 year old I have been thinking about this a lot lately. Before too long we will have to think about preschool and there are a few options around here, and then once she is ready for elementary school we have our pick of two districts, we live in one, but are allowed to open enroll to the adjacent school district which is a bit closer to our home.

Picking how your children will learn is such a huge decision. Any guidance I find helps. What did you choose? Public school? montessori? Home school?religious school?

Mason is starting public school kindergarten next year. We actually moved specifically so he could go to this new school. The area we were in before he would have been going to private school because the public schools weren't good enough for our liking.

I would have been interested in homeschooling, but I don't feel like I have the patience to homeschool my children. I have tutored someone else's child before and that was completely fine, but with my own children I think I would get frustrated too easily.
