Let's talk about kids and dads.

When I came from the hospital my first wish was to take a shower, and I left my baby with my husband and my brother, first I heard they are talking to a kid, laughing and so on, then it was a silence and in a few seconds they started knocking on the door and screaming that the baby is pooping and they do not know what to do......))))))) But in a few days my husband woke up in the night before me and helped me with our baby))))))

Oh my goodness! But we've gotten a good spray from our sons too!

My husband had to be encouraged to change diapers. The first time I said, "It's only a pee" and he goes to change our daughter, what does our daughter do mid change? Starts one of those wonderful breastfeeding poos and it just kept coming and coming and coming.....I stood outside our bedroom laughing as my husband changed her (oh I think I managed to get the wipes for him) and was going on about how it wasn't only a pee. How did I know she was going to go poo? It is still a hilarious memory for me!

From the get-go my husband has been a very hands on dad. Once we had three, he became even more hands on around the house. He is an awesome father and I could not have had eight children without his love and support. We parent together and are a team - not that it's perfect all the time, we have issues we have to work out like anyone else - but I cannot imagine having a family with anyone else because of how great he's been.
