Picky Eaters

Mason is an insanely picky - like INSANELY and I just read this article about how to encourage kids to eat more foods.

One thing I found really interesting is that they say not to disguise it. I tried that for a bit, but I got discouraged since it was a ton of work and if he ate what I was hiding the food in, he only ate a tiny bit and got next to no veggies.

Do you have a picky eater? How do you encourage them to try some more foods?

We disguised it and gave it to them straight but we had to sit with them until they ate it. It takes a lot of work and patience, but it paid off because we really don't have any picky eaters.

My son is a very picky and i am sorry so say that I usually give in and fix him the food that he wants. i try and make him eat the new foods but he is such a pest that he usually gags and spits it out.... now mind you he is eight and i hope he outgrows this stage!
