Where do you usually breastfeeding?

Today I saw this advertising and it made me think of the places for breastfeeding.
Actually, I should say I do not like this ad - I dont think it proclaims the idea of loyality to public breastfeeding. But I also dont know, where should you breastfeed if there is no special place and you shy.

I think it's saying society is all screwed up and It's forcing society to just accept that women need to breastfeed no matter where if you are that shy cover up my old church didn't have a place for me to breastfeed and I sat in the bathroom very uncomfortable indeed I didn't want to do it in the middle of services in case my daughter started crying or something.

Lindsay I'm sure everybody should accept public breastfeeding - especially if we are talking about churches! I just dont like the way this ad shows the problem.
What do you think would happen if you started breastfeeding right in the church? How would people reacted?

yeah I agree I think it was more of the point they are trying to get out there and be truthful as much as it's upsetting but the truth hurts sometimes with my daughter I was a new mom I was trying to keep from being noticed and I sat in the front row so would have been a distraction to the pastor mainly and with my son I didn't care as much I would breastfeed my son in the middle of choir practices when we were rehearsing for the Christmas play they were understanding it really depends on the situation your in too.

Where ever I am! If my my daughter is hungry I feed her and if people don't like it don't look lol. I don't cover with a blanket because she just pulls it off and you can't see much anyways with my shirt hanging by her face.

Marsida, picture is scaring, agree). But why don't you like breastfeeding in public? Have you ever had problems with finding place to breastfeed?

If my daughter is being fidgety, I will nurse on the car, but this past weekend, we calmly and quietly nursed in a diner corner booth. It makes my husband nervous about confrontation, but the only thing I can focus on at that moment is keeping my daughter nourished and happy. I have never been questioned about it by any onlookers. I know my life would be a lot easier if I felt comfortable nursing in more places. I stay home a lot.

I am not as brave as my sister when it comes to public breastfeeding.. My sister wears her babes and can feed them in the wrap or sling without anybody knowing-I'm not as brave or talented as her... If we are shopping, we take a break in the car or find a play area for the older kids. At church I take her back to the nursery-more for my husband's comfort. On the rare occassions we eat out, I always ask for a corner table so it's secluded and I just nurse while we eat. I will NEVER feed my baby in a bathroom.

My daugther has always been too distracted to nurse in a noisy place, so when I'm out and about, I try to find a space that is quiet with little distractions. Usually just need to find an area that is not so busy and without kids around - she will not nurse if there are other kids nearby. If a mother's room is available, I'll use that or a family restroom that has a separate seating area. It just makes it easier on me for her nurse quickly and without distraction. Especially now with four teeth - she will bite if she gets distracted too many times.
