Delivering a Breech Baby

You need to have a conversation with your doctor.
Depending on the type of breech your baby is in, there are options. You can have an external version (which is where a Dr. manually turns the baby from the outside of your body. This however can be a temp. fix for breech babies, sometimes the version goes well and other times they end up breech again. You can also try some exercises from . :) Read up on it, and see if it might work for you, but be safe! Also, delivering a breech baby vaginally, is possible, but has its share of pros/cons. Do some research, find out what's best for you and your baby, talk to your Dr. If you end up scheduling a Cesarean, look up some info on that too, that way you'll be prepared come delivery. I wish you all the best!

My chiropractor claimed that she could turn a breech baby, but I never had the opportunity to find out for sure.

I've heard of techniques to turn a breech baby. When one of mine was breech later in my pregnancy my midwife gave me pulsatilla (sp?) a homeopathic. Whether it was that or baby just turning, baby was delivered normally.
