Very tired....

We put up three wagon loads of hay - over 300 bales in the last couple of days. Today we rested, relaxed and I even napped, but I am finding it hard to stay awake tonight.

We still have hay to bale out in the field but it rained so while that isn't the greatest thing to happen, it did give us a reprieve before the next batch needs to be put in the barn. So now it has to dry out before it can be baled and I am not sure how long that will take. We had hoped to sell some of the hay to purchase straw and to pay our children for their hard work so we'll see....

Just very tired....

Someday maybe you'll have that flock of chickens or even a little farm of your own. Nothing is impossible! Lots of people are doing it in their retirement years even.
