First solid foods?
Mommies are there any good first solid munchies you all can suggest for babies that have rice allergies....?
If they are allergic to rice I would just start with fruit and veggie purees. Once he is ready for finger foods start with soft veggies and fruits like avacado, bananas etc
Have you started with any veggies? sweet potatoes is my daughters favorite I mix everything with breast milk to thin it out.
I have started him on veggie purees and he so far loves green beans, sweet potatoes and squash. I am curious about finger foods though too
Babies don't have to start with cereal. Just pick a food that is easily digestible. Start with veggies. Always start with one and try it for a few days to make sure Christopher isn't allergic. Then move on to another one and try it for a few days. Make notes each time you try a new food to see if there are any allergic reactions. Always talk to your Dr. regarding any concerns about food allergies too.
Sweet potatoes, bananas and avocados are said to have the best good kinds of fats so I would start there. Good luck!
Ya I am curious about finger foods because he has done so well with the purees.

I am a first time mom and a single mom to boot. I love my son Cj and I will be the best mom I can, no matter how hard it is at times. I have had my share of ups and downs but I face all of my life with a smile on my face.
