Planning my wedding
I've been trying to plan everything for my wedding. I'm trying to get a headcount but haven't gotten many rsvp's yet. So i'm roughly guessing how many will be there so when I rent chairs and tables for out door wedding and reception there should be enough. Oy! Then I gotta find out what dress i'm getting and shoes who's doing my hair and my daughters dress. Gonna do a potluck style reception so there should be enough food but only 2 people have said they are bringing things and I am buying the wedding cake too. Not sure about some things and i'm trying to keep everything in my budget but no one is getting back to me! So frustrating at times, sorry I just needed to ramble and vent a bit.
I hope the wedding is good. I got a Justice of Peace already. I'm planning on having my daughter stand with us, I hope that is gonna work out...
Does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do for the reception, should i provide activities for children and adults too? Should I hire a DJ or play music off my laptop? I was also thinking about having disposable cameras and have a few family members use my camera too for pictures or should I hire a professional?
For pictures, I recommend asking specific to take pictures. We asked specific family members/friends that we knew enjoyed taking pictures to take some for us. If you leave the cameras at the tables, you get a lot of pictures of what the kids take.
It is a lot of work to plan and coordinate a wedding. Just remember what is most important and concentrate on that!
