Where to get stay at home moms support

Usually from friends who are also stay at home moms, my husband, mom, mil have all been very supportive in our decision to have me stay at home.

Finding support for staying at home has been a non-issue for me. But for those struggling, I'd suggest church groups, play groups, the library etc. are where you can meet other stay at home moms to gain support from.

I'm with you, Theresa. I really haven't had a hard time finding support from family, friends, and neighbors... but I know some people that join Mom groups - MOPS (moms of preschoolers) is pretty common
This is great advice. I received great support from my mother who was once a stay home mom, as well as my husband. It is always important to find support for your decision, especially when you sometimes second guess. I have before and often times wondered if I should just work a full-time job, attend school, and just find day care for my daughter. Just when I began to voice that thought, I am reminded by those who support me that my daughter is growing up perfectly. She's being taught so much and has great social skills. I also find that this site is amazing for providing support!

I have support from my family and husband, but I have trouble with meeting up with other stay at home moms in person. I have joined a Facebook group as well as this site, but every now and then I get lonely. I am hoping that once I finish my degree I will be able to get out more.
