Where do you get prescriptions filled?

i always wondered what the benefit or difference was of getting prescriptions filled at different places...

i like Walgreens because it is SUPER close to my house. I once went to Walmart and had to wait almost 30 minutes. I guess if I was shopping it would not make a difference but to have to go in and wait just to get an RX is crazy...Walgreens gets most of mine done in 5-10 minutes! I know there are also stand alone traditional pharmacies ... but I like the drive up option at walgreens... Ha ha can you tell i like walgreens? Oh and I forgot about grocery store pharmacies too...do you ever use them?

I must admit i have only used a grocery store pharmacy if they are offering an incentive on a new RX or transferred RX they give gift card when transferring... but alas I usually transfer back.

What are your preferences and / or experiences?

Did you have to wait long ... ??? I really hate it that they say their norm is 30 minute fill time (at least at our walmart)

Ugh, my message didn't go all the way through (was on the site on my cell)...sorry about that.

At Wal-Mart, I waited for about 20 minutes even though there was only one person in front of me. They appeared to have a full staff so I wasn't sure why it took so long. When I checked in, the pharmacy tech told me it would take 45 minutes. 0_o Most of the time it isn't that long. However if we had a Walgreens near us I would definitely go there. I'm not sure if the prescriptions cost the same as they do at Wal-Mart, but I really liked the fact that I was in and out in no time there.
