Going Frugal

So...after hours of research, maybe less. I have decided to make my own laundry detergent, dryer wool balls, fabric softener, cleaning products, and dish liquid. :)

This will also aide in my son's severe sensitive skin issues. And will rid my home of any chemicals.

Now, if only I could get cloth diapers and wind/solar power--I'd be set. Lol

I make my own laundry detergent and love it. It so easy and works so well. I also made my own cloth diapers. I use baking soda for a facial scrub so I don't have harsh chemicals on my face. I want to make my own fabric softener but most of them use vinegar and I just don't know about that one. Lol

I am going to try it, vinegar. I found one where the woman uses essential oils in with it to make it smell pretty, plus they are antibacterial.

How did it work? Better than other cleaners?

I found this couple that has a blog and a book all about frugal living and making your own products.
